Money back on Cataclean at Euro Car Parts & Andrew Page following rise in emissions test failures

Drivers using Cataclean to decrease their vehicle’s toxic fumes will get their money back if it fails the new MOT emissions test in a two-month promotion at two of the UK’s leading car parts specialist stores.

Following news that the MOT failure rate for diesel and petrol vehicles has shot up since the new test was introduced last May, customers who buy the fuel additive from Euro Car Parts and Andrew Page during March and April, but do not pass the test, will get a full refund.

More than 250 stores will be taking part in the moneyback promotion on Cataclean, which is shown to bring down emissions by up to 60% in independent tests and can mean the difference between a pass and a fail.

Helen Robinson, marketing director for Euro Car Parts, said they were pleased to play a part in helping drivers reduce their toxic fumes and ultimately pass their MOT test.

“The recent MOT rule changes have introduced important, yet stringent, new criteria for vehicles and we’re not surprised to see that diesel failures have increased dramatically as a result,” she said.

William Jones from Cataclean said: “We’ve had so much positive feedback over the past year from customers who say they got through the emissions test with crucial help from Cataclean.

“This promotion will get Cataclean in front of even more customers and allow them to see the benefits first-hand.”

An independent survey of 1,000 motorists commissioned by Cataclean last year asked if drivers would buy a ‘pour and go’ complete engine and fuel system cleaner if it would help them pass their MOT. Over 40% said yes, definitely, while nearly half (47%) said they were unsure, but were interested in knowing more.

Simply poured into the fuel tank, Cataclean differs from many other fuel additives because it cleans, restores and protects the entire engine, fuel and exhaust system, blitzing resin and carbon deposits from fuel injectors, intake valves, DPF, catalytic converter and exhaust. Cutting emissions and increasing MPG and performance, it can save you money on replacing expensive parts down the line.
